OUR STORY

How we started

 

Sandcastle Jewelry is designed and created by stay at home mom Jillian Marsh.  That's me.  I reside in El Dorado KS with my husband Caleb, and our three kids under 5.

 

Jewelry has to take a backseat to family life in this house.  Most of my days are pretty normal and spent playing, cleaning and cooking--after a couple good cups of coffee that is! We all love to be outside so we spend a lot of time outside exploring. We're just a pretty average family seeking to use our talents in a way that honors God.



Years ago I had to decide on a name for this line.  At the time I was studying the book of Matthew.  Chapter 7 speaks of the selecting the foundation for your life. Whether forging metal or folding fabric, I love the feeling of creating something new.  It makes me reflect on the Creator and bask in the awe of His creativity.  And I like the materialistic works of jewelry, but am seeking to use them as a gateway to that which is Real.  To He who creates all things.   This jewelry is my house upon the sand, but my life is built upon the Rock.  I pray that yours will be too.
